Specializing in Machine Learning Applications in Social Media & IoT
Currently completing my PhD at IIT Patna and joining UPES, Dehradun as an Assistant Professor in 2025.
My story begins in the vibrant small city of Mizan Aman, nestled in Ethiopia's southwest, where curious minds are shaped by community and creativity. Growing up there, I was that kid who was equally excited about taking apart electronics and making friends laugh. My journey from those playful days to becoming an AI researcher wasn't a straight lineāit was more like debugging code with plenty of unexpected errors and delightful discoveries along the way!
While I might have been an 'average student' on paper, my enthusiasm for technology was anything but average. Today, I bring that same blend of technical passion and approachable humor to my classrooms, where students know they're meeting not just a professor but a fellow explorer. I'm living proof that you don't need to start with extraordinary privileges to build an extraordinary path.
With over 7 years of teaching experience and a strong research background, I am passionate about bridging the gap between theoretical computer science and practical applications. My research focuses on machine learning applications in social media analysis and IoT systems.
