App interactions	Likes, follows, and views, to operate features and basic analytics.
Device or advertising ID	Used by our advertising provider to show ads.

How We Use Your Information

To provide core app functionality (accounts, posting, messaging, feeds).
To manage your account and authenticate you (email verification, password reset).
To display advertising within the app.
To understand basic usage and keep the service safe and secure.

How Your Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted third-party service providers to operate the app, and your data may be processed by them on our behalf:

Supabase — secure backend, database, and storage (hosts your account and content).
Resend — sends account verification and password-reset emails.
Google AdMob — serves ads; may receive your device/advertising ID.
RevenueCat / Google Play Billing — processes optional subscription purchases.

Data Security

Your data is transferred over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). We take reasonable measures to protect your information against unauthorized access.

Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data at any time:

In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

When you delete your account, your profile, videos, photos, messages, comments, likes, and follows are permanently removed. We may retain limited information where required by law or for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention, for as long as legally required.

Children's Privacy

LayaPop is not intended for children under the age required by law in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
